from Recon Events

12 February 2020

We're heading back to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern to bring you a night of fun, cabaret and fetish. This social event is open to all fetishes, come in gear or in civvies.

Hosted by the rancid starlet Baby Lame, who will be thrilling and terrorising everyone with her twisted brand of punk horror drag, expect dark comedy and bad taste from start to finish with all performers bringing acts with a fetish twist

Baby Lame is one of London's most exciting alt-cabaret stars and co-host of the official Drag Race UK Podcast for BBC Sounds. This award-winning Punk-Horror-Drag starlet combines frantic balls-out performance with dark comedy and the bad taste midnight movie sensibility of John Waters. A fixture on London's queer scene, they have also headlined sold out shows at Underbelly Festival and Winterville and will be debuting their solo show 'Whatever Happened to Baby Lame' at the Pleasance Theatre in March.

There will be performances from London based performer, model and dancer Marshall Arkley.

Marshall is one of the main cast member of Adonis cabaret and will be showing us all what tricks he can do with items from his tool box.

'Queerstory the Musical' professors Mercury and Maxim bring selections from their glitter-filled cabaret-lecture and present the history lesson none of us got at school. Exploring the lives, culture and stories of the LGBTQIA+ community throughout history. Previously, 'Queerstory the Musical' has appeared several times to great acclaim, including at the Mirth, Marvel & Maude, Stratford East's Roundabout Festival and alongside Amanda Palmer.

Trash Valentine- London's Las Vegas show boy, vivacious, flirtatious and positively magnetic, Trash leaves his audience begging for his affection. Combining satire, striptease and bawdy allure this boylesque charmer celebrates burlesque in all its forms.

We'll also have comedy from Carmen Ali, who is a stand-up comedian, and blogger who once quoted Shakespeare while giving a lap dance. She talks openly about her life including sex, stripping, and strap-ons, and performs Burlesque as APRIL FIASCO.

Expect a night of fantastic performances and games from some of the best in the London cabaret scene, as well as the chance to gear up and socialize with other kinksters.

All genders welcome! No advance tickets. £10 on the door.
